DUTIES: Members of the Public Safety Bond Citizen
Oversight Committee have fiscal review over the bond program and present an annual report
to the City Council.
MEETINGS: The committee meets on a quarterly basis,
on the third Wednesday of every February, May, August, and November, at 5:00 PM.
BENEFITS: There is no monetary compensation or other benefits for committee members.
POLITICAL REFORM ACT OF 1974 AS AMENDED: The Conflicts
of Interest Section of the Political Reform Act applies to the committee. However, committee members are not required to file
a Statement of Economic Interests, Form 700.
APPOINTMENT PROCESS: Members are appointed to the committee
upon the Mayor's recommendation to the City Council and the City Council's approval of such recommendation.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: Committee members are expected to
attend all meetings.
