Bid Openings

Bid openings are scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays in City Hall Tower, Room 550. Sealed bids must be filed with the Department of Public Works, 5th Floor, City Hall Tower of San José, 200 East Santa Clara Street, San José, California 95113-1905. The Director of Public Works will accept sealed bids until the time scheduled for bid opening at which time the City Bid Official will open and declare the aggregate bid of each bidder.

Click here to download. These documents can also be purchased in book form from the Public Works staff on the first floor of City Hall. The Standard Specifications books are $30 each, and the Standard Details books with addenda are $10 each.
